West & Southwest Suburban Eats + Dining in Chicagoland:
This public Facebook group is a compilation of posts about restaurants throughout the Chicago area, with a focus on the West, Southwest, and South suburbs. It's intended to give ideas of new places for dining out, as well as provide relevant restaurant info, such as new menu items & specials. Members are encouraged to share posts for their own or favorite restaurants, eateries, cafes, bars, and breweries throughout Chicagoland.
Special Events & Traditional Fests of the Chicago Metropolitan Area:
A public Facebook group dedicated solely to the many special events and fun fests always happening around Chicagoland — including southeast Wisconsin and northwest Indiana! Please contribute to our content by sharing your own events, those you are attending, or ones you are interested in into the group. Check out the Events tab pinned to Featured to easily see all upcoming Facebook-created Event pages that have already been shared.

Chicagoland's Informational Guide Center for Visiting other Areas of Illinois on Weekend Trips or your Next Exit Out of State for Cross-Country Travel.
When someone tells you about a fancy hotel or neat bed and breakfast to stay in a few hours away, or if you see a post for an out-of-state restaurant or menu item you'd love to try if you ever visit there, share it into this Facebook group to save for future reference, as well as to share with others. Additional travel-related content to post includes popular tourist attractions, historical sites, scenic views, points of interest, landmarks, local favorites off the beaten path, events held anywhere outside of Chicagoland, maps of travel routes to follow, and lists of themed destinations to visit in a region.
