Since I am also a graphic designer, digital artist, and creative writer, on occassion, I am hired for more than the photography part of an event. This collection from a 50th wedding anniversary celebration is a golden example of the possibilities such an opportunity provides.
Having designed the invitations and keepsake photo gifts given to honor the bridal party, I had access to the couple's wedding photographs, which enabled me to create some special images combining the joy of today with the reflections of yesterday.
All of the photographic digital art and design layouts were my own concept and vision. I also authored the poem written on the treasure boxes given to the bridesmaids, which was than edited and shortened by the family.
